The modules described below can be included as part of the bulletinbuilder service at extra cost. Prices are given with each brief description. We are always keen to listen to suggestions for additions and improvements to these modules if they do not quite match your requirements.
List Builder
This powerful mailing list feature enables lists to be built on the fly via an online subscription or registration process. We will supply the HTML forms to your specification for your website to collect personal data as well as content preferences. This feeds the list builder database so that the eBulletin and its content can be personalised. For example, you can create a sublist that comprises female subscribers in London with an interest in fashion and send content appropriate to that segment. This module can also be used to restrict access to certain content areas should an eBulletin go out to members and non-members of a professional body, for example.

Double Opt-In
For consumer mailings, European law demands double opt-ins but the law is less strict for business to business communications. When an individual subscribes via a website, the system automatically emails a plain text message to inform them that they have subscribed to the named eBulletin and to confirm their agreement by replying. Not until this action is completed will they be on the actual ‘send’ list or sub-list.

Print All Stories
Some customers use template designs that allow them to include multiple stories. In order to allow them to be read at leisure a link can be added to view all the stories in a single browser page to be printed to a local inkjet or laser printer.

Print to PDF
Some of your contacts may prefer to receive an ink on paper version of your eBulletin in the post rather than by email. This module will create a simple PDF file of the current issue by bringing all the text content into a new template that also includes high resolution image files you have uploaded. This file can be handed to a litho or digital printer to achieve a high quality result. It should be noted that the layout treatment can only be very simple - one story following another from page to page.

Story Categories
If you have stories that appear in repeated categories from month to month this feature creates some simple navigational anchors near the top of the email so you can click down to the regular story or section you like to read. This feature is particularly useful when the preference is to include all the story content in the email making it too long to scroll comfortably. When categories are consistent from issue to issue unique styling can be applied to each during the design stage for the html template.

Links to related stories
If you publish your stories in categories in your eBulletin, you can include a list of links on similar topics from previous issues adjacent to the current story.

Feature Story
eBulletin content is styled up by style sheets that work within the template. This keeps the ‘look’ consistent from story to story. If you want a different look for one of your stories – perhaps to include a personal message as the lead story – this feature utilises a different set of styles within the template to control type style, layout and colour.

Survey Module
This module allows you to send a questionnaire within a modified version of an HTML template. Questions can be formatted for simple yes/no, multiple choice, ranked preference and free text answers that are submitted to a database via the email. Responses can be viewed by a secure live link that we supply to the client only. Data is displayed in numerical or graphical format with user-defined options for the type of graph. These reports can be downloaded in a range of formats and control is given via an admin area. Work on surveys is quite complex and will require the input of our staff to ensure smooth operation and good design.

News Feed
The latest stories within bulletinbuilder can be displayed on your website with this module.

Remote Requests
A simple form can be included on your website to request the latest edition of your eBulletin. You receive an automatic alert to inform you of the request and the visitor to your site is automatically added to your database while receiving the latest issue from your console.

Build a news website
The useful content that you accumulate from issue to issue can be made accessible via your own news-based website built on top of bulletinbuilder's content management system. The content will be fully searchable, giving easy and convenient access - which can be selectively controlled via features within the list builder module.
